Bachata. Learn this sensual dance that recently has gained popularity all over the world. Originated in Dominican Republic in the sixties, Bachata music and dance has been evolving due to the influence of other rhythms, dances and instruments. There are numerous styles of Bachata taught around the globe. We teach traditional Bachata with some elements of Sensual Bachata in the intermediate level class.

In our Bachata Footwork and Partner Dancing classes we concentrate on verious shine steps in solo dancing poertion of the class, stressing on the technique, body movements and styling. At the Partner Dancing portion of the class we work on the following and leading, learn various dance steps and moves that can be executed with a partner, and create fun routines. Please be advised that due to COVID we highly encourage you to come with a partner. If you chose to partner with someone in class, you will stay with same partner during the entire class. We will not rotate students to minimize close contact.
The number of students in each session is limited. Therefore, in-advance registration is required to attend the class.
Please note: these are “use it or lose it” classes.

Chose your level of dancing and let's learn together!

Other classes to consider:

Salsa. This very popular style of dance originated in New York with special influence from Puerto Rico and Cuba. You will learn steps, turns, patterns, body movement, as well as following and leading. We teach Salsa on1.

Kizomba is one of the most popular genres of dance and music originating from Angola. It is a derivative of semba, with a mix of Kilapanda and Angolan Merengue, and sung generally in Portuguese. It is music with a romantic flow. It was the Kimbundu name for a dance in Angola as early as 1894.

Bringing your own partner is not a requirement. Socialize and meet new friends. However, we encourage you to invite your friends. Dancing together is always more fun.
