About the dances we teach

Salsa - Learn this very popular style of dance that originated in New York with special influence from Puerto Rico and Cuba. You will learn steps, turns, patterns, body movement, as well as following and leading. We teach Salsa on 1.

Bachata - Learn this sensual dance that recently has gained popularity. This dance originated in Dominican Republic. Even though its origin can be traced to the sixties, Bachata music and dance has been evolving due to the influence of other rhythms, dances and instruments.

Kizomba is one of the most popular genres of dance and music originating from Angola. It is a derivative of semba, with a mix of Kilapanda and Angolan Merengue, and sung generally in Portuguese. It is music with a romantic flow. It was the Kimbundu name for a dance in Angola as early as 1894.
